Go through K12. They're amazing. The school should provide all materials except what you'd normally buy for school.
Each curriculum is approved by the state it is based in so you don't need to stress over that. Each school varies by state as well.
@nikkolesmith I was too. I knew I wanted to home school but the stress of it all was crazy. While she has a specified class schedule for the day, the only set times are any online classes that are required.
It's technically called home based but the only difference is online classes lol.
@mychemicalshaymance, the school district I’m in is horrible so I’m willing to do whatever! I appreciate the help!
What curriculums or workbooks did y’all use?! I see so many but I M unsure what is best or scams for money some charge so much and some are free🤷🏼♀️😩 we have done all store bought workbooks at this
Point and abc mouse.
Starting at kindergarten with my first so I’m basically clueless 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
I do the k12 public school online if that helps!
I’m trying to find a great curriculum mostly . I’ve looked online and am unsure .
My mom, mother in-law, two of my husband’s aunts all home school their kids. I was homeschooled myself and I plan to do the same with my boys when they get to middle school and high school.
I know a few moms here do. Maybe the just didn’t see your other post. Hopefully one of them will see it
I hope so I have so many questions ! My oldest is
Four and we have done preschool
At home but I’m ready to fully commit
To
Homeschool at least through first grade ! Need advice🤦🏼♀️
I'm at the same stage you are, but struggling knowing where to start
@kokopuff, yes it’s confusing and if you’ve never dealt with the school rules in your area then you really have no idea where to start!
