Anyone have a washer WITHOUT a center agitator? Does it wash your clothes as well as one with?
I did. I liked mine, but it only lasted about 5 year before the bolt that holds the saucer in the bottom stripped and it would no longer ring out the clothes. It cost as much to fix as it did for me to buy a new one. 🤦🏻♀️😡
I think I’ll probably spend the extra money and get it without.
I mean we will probably have these until we’re old and grey lol.
@santistevanmommie that's what we did. we got ours a couple years ago and I love them!
Following. I just bought LG top loading with no agitator. I haven't used it yet because it's getting delivered when our house is finished being built. I hope it works well 🤞

No matter which one we get we will probably get the extended warranty on it Home Depot offers. The guy told us it’s worth it because if you ever have to do a repair it’ll pay for itself in just one repair.
I have one without. I don’t normally follow “ Washing “ rules. 🤷🏻♀️😂 I used to damage a lot of items i threw in the wash when i used a washer with the agitator. Now i hardly damage any.
@sorcha, Hahaha yasss girl. You arent the only one. As long as its washed, clean and smells good i am a happy camper!🤣
@rndmshtt, this is me lol. I don’t separate clothes or anything.
I have a bravo xl. HE top loader with no agitator. It washes our clothes and cloth diapers with no issues.
I bought a Maytag bravos dryer so was looking at the matching washer. The thing is they have one with the center agitator and one without. If it works so well without I think I’m going to spend the extra money to get the one without. Especially since a lot say you can fit more clothes in without one.
@santistevanmommie I have the dryer as well. I recommend the set for sure with out.
My MIL does. I personally like my toploader better. Both get clothes clean 🤷♀️
Yeah but I think you can get them either way. I was looking at one with and one without. The one without is more expensive than the one with
I think most newer washers don’t have them???

Here’s this
It’s so much easier to wash comforters in it without. I think it washes well without.
Yes! I love mine without. I can fit SO much more in and even my big bulky comforters fit.
I used to have one and i liked it better bc it fit more clothing and it did a good job cleaning too
@santistevanmommie, i use to wash blankets and stuff much easier
@mrsmord, i think I might end up spending the extra money on it. We have big puffy blankets and it’d be so much better to not have to set them aside to take them to laundromat.
@santistevanmommie, yeah i feel like most new ones don’t have it also
Yes it does for me
