I haven't eaten any meat during this pregnancy... anyone else a vegetarian/fruitarian?!☺️
I eat bacon (my only meat) more during pregnancy, but I also don't find my other sources of protein as appealing during pregnancy. I do eat a ton of fruits during pregnancy as well though.
I dont kno how you girls survive. I would definitely starve with out meat. I eat my red meat raw . It literally like walks to my plate lol . How do u get all the vitamins you need? Is it hard to be a vegetarian?
It's not hard being vegetarian , it made me more aware of what I put in my body.
Omg raw meat I almost died when I read that. 😂 vegetarianism is a preference thing similar to how meat is a preference for you. For some folks it’s just easier. I for one could survive easily without meat. Meat isn’t the sole provider of protein and iron you can find plenty in veggies and other foods.
It's not hard at all. There are plenty of other sources for protein. I only eat bacon, I don't like the taste of any other meat. I get most of my protein and other nutrients found in meat from seeds, nuts and legumes. Veggies also provide a lot of that. The only issue I've ever had is an iodine deficiency and that's now balanced by using a different type of salt, but that's an issue that can happen just as easily if you don't eat seafood.
Since I got pregnant I eat it medium rare but pre pregnancy I eat red meat raw and I'll prob go back to it after, idk why it just sooo good to me lol although it does sound gross. I mean I like veggies too I just think I'm too much of a foodie to not eat everything that's not bolted down lol
