I am furious. I took madi to the pedi weeks ago for chest congestion and a bad cough. They said the same thing they always say. “it’s viral and there’s nothing we can do for her”
4 weeks later and it’s still there. She’s up all night coughing, she has SO much mucus in her throat and chest that it sounds horrible when she breathes. I brought her back today and got the same response. “nothing we can do”
Are they kidding me? My child can barely breathe comfortably because of all the congestion in her chest. I’ve done everything. Motrin, cough and mucus medicine, humidifier, steamy showers. everything.

I’m so sorry I’m currently going threw the same thing with my 6 month old n it’s horrible I took him to the er yesterday n got told the same thing.. why can’t it be me instead of him ugh...prayers sent to ur baby❤️

Have they checked for for rsv? I would be going off. I'd ask to see someone else or an inhaler to help her breathe better.

I’m so sorry that you and your daughter have to go through that . I too had congestion problems with my son . Luckily it has gotten a bit better . But it was very bad before . It was messing with his sleeping . The doctors too said that they couldn’t do nothing about it . Which was so disappointing because they tell you not to give any medication to them but also tell you they can’t do nothing about it . Which makes you feel very helpless and all you want to do is help your lil one . Have you thought about getting another opinion and going to a specialist instead ?

Have you tried Maty’s brand for cough and mucus? It seems to help my son a lot when he’s congested.
