***Mums to more than one child....***
What were your best buys that you’d have for every child you have?
What are the items you’d say “I’d wasted money on that”
🤔🤔🤔
Oh wow it’s interesting you say that. I had a bouncer but a swing was my biggest regret. I’ve always said I’d get a swing this time instead of a bouncer xx
@catherineln25 Morgan hated the swing. Probably went in it 3 times total. We got it back out for Max but it was so big and bulky. He liked it a little more but we still never used it.
Sleep bags- a must I felt so much more relaxed using them rather then blankets etc I'm a big worrier though.
Waste : a nappy bin.. I just use a normal small bin and put scented bags in them x
Waste of money was big changing table/bath, cot quilts and bumpers (use blankets so it's easier to get the right temp ect)
Must haves were bibs and burp cloths, a chair for baby downstairs, lots of blankets and a travel cot (doubles up as playpen when baby starts crawling and you have jobs to be done)
I got rid of my changing table. Spent hundreds on it but it just got on my nerves it was so much easier doing it on the floor! I bought a couple of travel cots for that reason 😂😂 my little girl still sometimes prefers sleeping in it now and she’s 3 this year!! I’ve always used blankets 🙌🏼 my LG still uses the same blanket as she did when she was first born xx
Must have for me is: Next to me crib. I didn’t have one for my first baby and so wish I did as i think it’s the best thing ever for my second baby and he sleeps like a dream. I will definitely keep this for any future children too.
Waste of money: expensive high chairs. I bought a joie high chair for my eldest it was £100. It was so big and bulky and took up so much room I sold it and bought a cheap white plastic one instead. So much easier to clean and took up a lot less room in our lounge diner x
@rebeccarowand, my daughter is nearly 3 she absolutely HATED a sleeping bag! She never ever liked it at all. I may try and swaddle blanket next time. I had to get blankets big enough that would go all the way under her mattress so she couldn’t pull the blanket over her head. Xx
@catherineln25, yeah the blankets tucked right under the mattress are a good idea xx
A good bouncer was a blessing. Doesn't have to be expensive but cushiony & cosy. A swing was definately something we got but barely used!
