Okay so my baby was born premature...6 weeks early and was supposed to be born on Feb 7th, this Thursday. She was on 2 oz bottles for about 2 weeks, then 3 oz bottles for about 2 weeks and now she’s on 4 oz bottles!! Not even Full Term basically yes and she eats so much. She’s 5 weeks 4 days today and all she wants to do is eat. I feel like she eats out of boredom. This happen to anyone else? Also she spits out a lot when she drinks and idk what to do. She’s on the smallest size nipple there is!

My daughter was born 5 weeks early and weighted 4 pounds 9 oz and she did the same thing. I think when they are premature it's a little harder for them to know when they are full. She also spit a lot of milk out too so that probably has something to do with it.

Unfortunately they practically force feed those tiny things. I remember one day they had just upped his feed and he cried in pain from them stretching his stomach and I had to make her stop because she was going to keep on. It makes them not be able to tell when they are full. My boy STILL over eats. I would tell them to back off some. 🤷♀️ let them stop when they are done instead of forcing. Also, nipples were a big issue for us. He wanted one kind only and anything else he just let it all run out of his mouth. Does your little have reflux or anything?
