Okay so I have a kinda dumb question lol So, I love my OB that I go to now, but when we finally get pregnant, I found another hospital that I would LOVE to give birth at. Would it be best to find an OB there when we find out we're pregnant, that way it will be easier when it comes time to give birth?
I delivered at the same hospital, same doctors the first two times & then switched this last time, I’m SO HAPPY I did ! I had such a better experience & loved every minute of it💖 It was a closer hospital as well . If you feel it’s a better place & weren’t happy the first time then I believe it’s a good time to start exploring other doctors & hospitals . Best of luck to you, I hope it works out for you !! ❤️🤞🏽
@crumbsnatchersmama19 @momof3qtpies @mbelton thank you so much ladies! I think when I find out I'm pregnant, I will go to the new place and see what I can do
So since I was born with HIV. When I got pregnant and let her know my HIV doctor referred me to a high risk obgyn but i found another hospital that I wanted to deliver st because they had Laughing gas as a pain relief option during labor which was a strong preference because I didnt want demerol or the epidural....the hospital I was at(UT southwestern) and the one(Parkland) it neighbors they both only did those 2 methods so i called around and found the one that had the pain relief option I wanted and found Presbyterian hospital had it so I switched Ob's last Friday. @jgood2220
I changed after my first child to a different hospital because I hated the first hospital even though my doc was great. My experience was so much better at the new hospital. Totally worth it.
Yes. I just switched obs bc I wanted to switch hospitals. Only thing I dont like is I still have to wait the normal 8 weeks bc I'm a new patient even though I've had a preemie & a miscarriage.
Im following cause I'm in this predicament. I love my Dr, but was very disappointed with the l&d with my first so I plan on delivering at a hospital an hour away this time. No guarantees you get your ob anyways 🤷♀️ Now I'm questioning "what if I need an induction"
I definitely think it's better to deliver somewhere you will be happy and comfortable
I’m in the exact same boat. Same distance to the new hospital and all. Lol. When I become pregnant, I will switch to a midwife from the very beginning. I already know who I want to use and also have a back up option as well. Lol.
