Ok so I had a miscarriage Dec.7th at 5 weeks 😢. But anywho I finally got my first period Jan.28th atleast I thought. So since Jan.28th till now I been having just brown spotting, some days a little heavier and a red color and then the next day brown and so on and so on. Have anyone ever experienced a cycle like this after a miscarriage before and everything was fine?

I'm sorry for your loss, periods can be weird for a few cycles after a miscarriage, have you been checked to make sure everything ended up coming out ? If not I'd schedule a follow-up with your Dr to ease your mind. Hugs your way 🤗

Yeah they checked last month and everything was cleared out and also my test was stark negatives again. Ima see how long the spotting/ bleeding last and if it’s still longer than my normal period ima get checked out.

@ebonymiller39 it is completely normal to have longer periods and late periods for a few cycles sweetie.

Have you taken a test just to be sure you're not pregnant again? We've had 3 losses. The first a blighted ovum at 8 weeks. I bled 8 days and exactly 4 weeks after the bleeding stopped I had a typical period for me. Our second was in my right ovary, bled 8 days and actually got my first period exactly 1 weeks after bleeding stopped. Again a typical period for me. Our third loss was much more complicated at 14 weeks. It took me 4 full months to miscarry and we found out we were pregnant again less than a month after the miscarriage finallu ended.

I took a test a day before the bleeding and it was stark white negative. So I’m just assuming maybe imbalance in my hormones.

@ebonymiller39 If it keeps up I would put a call in and talk to your doctor about what's going on. After our second was born I actually needed to go on birth control for 3 months to regulate my period again. The month we stopped it we got pregnant with our second son
