The twins Birthday party today. Had the worst morning though. When I got to store to pick up balloons they did not even start them, so I had to stand there for 10 minutes waiting. Then went to pick up cards and cake. The card shop barely had 1st birthday cards, so I did not get any there. Got the cake, it came out great but they messed up the color scheme on top of the cake. I said I wanted primary colors mixed with pastels like pink, light blue and light purple, yup they just did pastels. It was a rainbow themed party. It looked like a girly cake 🤦. I told them it was for boy/girl twins, they even wrote down the colors I wanted right in front of me when I ordered it. But I did not say anything, it was not worth the aggravation. Then had to go to different store with car filled of balloons, cake and cupcakes. Got to my MIL house where the party was decorated as fast as I could. My older son started trying to destroy everything I was getting together, oh he also messed up their smash cupcake photo moment, when the cupcakes where brought to the babies he took off one of the babies cupcakes toppers and messed that all up for a good photo shoot. Then the whole day was just spent around my husband's family that basically ignored me. Ahhh what a day. Glad it's over unfortunately
