Mom who breastfeed.... When did you let your newborn/infant stay away from home?
I’m dreading when my 6weeks Up cause my boyfriend wants to keep our son over night. Not that I don’t trust him. I just have anxiety when I’m not around my kids.

Im waiting until my baby boy is 2 months before he can start going over his fathers house for a couple hours, & 3 months before he can spend the night for the weekend. Until then, his father has to come to my house to see him. Its just not a good idea to have the baby away from home so early.

I used to leave him with a neighbor I trusted all the time. Only because I had the graveyard shift and I dreaded it. The first couple of times were really really hard but after a while it gets easier

Never almost 1year into it and we'll I feel like your baby will let you know when I know me breastfeeding when ever I'm away even if I've pumped for her at times she will refuse a bottle breast milk I to have anxiety especially when I have to work @tierrafelton26

At that young it's better for baby to stay with mom. I'd have him come stay all night with you if that's possible.

I still dont and she is 2 months. But i do have milk if i wanted to let her stay the night. Also with my other i didnt till till maybe 4 or 5 months old and it was for one night when i went put drinking for a girls night or date night. But that just me.

Why does he want him overnight? Can’t he just come stay with you to help out at night?

That what I was thinking. He work Monday-Friday... so it’s not a problem that he stays the weekend like he has been doing

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Never over night. I'm way too paranoid about SIDS when they're that young. My anxiety would be through the roof.
