Mine broke at 3 with my daughter and 4 with my son. It's different for everyone. Sometimes it never does break. My daughter was just a slow trickle I thought I was peeing at first lol. With my son it popped and I had a huge gush though.
With my first i was induced and they broke it when I was 3 cm with my second my water broke at 3cm on it own and with my 3rd kid they had to brake it when i was 10cm because it didn't want to brake.

There's no connection. Everyone is different. Some break at 0, some don't ever, some at 4... all depends

Mine had to be broken and I was 8 cm

Mine don't break on their own. I was fully dilated and the doctor had to break my water.
