If you decide to do a water birth can you still be monitored or get a epidural?

No epidural I believe.

I got offered an epideral when i did a water birth

I thought water births were supposed to be natural ?

I’m not sure about the monitoring but I was told no epidural when I was looking into it with my last daughter.

No to both. I had one with my first. Couldn't with my 2nd because I was induced and had to be monitored.

If you're trying to do a water birth you can't get an epidural because it numbs your body lower half of your body.

I just cannot imagine having epidural and being in the bath 🛀! 🤔
