HELP! So my 1 year old will not eat much of anything. If it was up too him he would live off apple juice, cheeto puffs and mashed potatoes. I try introducing a variety of foods but he isn’t having it. he’ll take like 5-6 bites and starts spitting/throwing it. He refuses formula & will only occasionally take regular milk. He doesn’t really like any other thing too drink other then apple juice and it’s not healthy or good for him too always have apple juice. I’m going too mention it too his doctor today but I need some suggestions or ideas on what too try please!
@brook. Yea it is stressful but he doesn’t want anything else I tried everything
@mamiprincess77, neither does my son! It’s like fighting a wild animal trying to get him to eat anything else! His doctor said too try ensure if he doesn’t want to eat! Maybe that’s something you can try as well!
You can try watering down his apple juice who is mostly water and little bit of apple juice. I'm sure it's just a phase that he will get over soon. My daughter has always been the food picker. To this day she still doesn't need a lot at all. No she's not picky about what she eats she just doesn't eat much. She'll have a bite or two of each food on her plate then she said she's done it also takes her a very long time to eat. I think if you cut out snacking and water down his juice he might start to eat more because he will be hungry and he'll have no choice but to eat what's in front of him. He might not eat a lot and that's okay. My daughter is the same but she is completely healthy
Yeah we just seen his doctor she said he’s healthy and that he’s just hit the stage of not wanting to eat as much and that it’s normal. She said m he’ll be fine as long as he eats a little something. Thank you for your input 🙂
Theres times my daughter wants to only snack. So aside from healthy snacks like fruits, string cheese, yogurt, etc. . I will cut her off from snacking. She will then eat what i usually end up serving her for lunch / dinner.
We also only keep milk and water at home so she has no other options.
When we go out is usually when she gets a free pass on drinks and snacks 🤷🏻♀️😂
@brook., what about homemade baby food like apples or sweet potatoes?
@mamamegan, I haven’t tried that! Thank you I’ll definitely have to give it a try!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Apple juice for me. I hateeeee apple juice.
I need help!!! Something is wrong with my dog and I have no money or job to take him to the vet. I think hes dying idk
Make your own breakfast!
At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.
so i want my SO and my mom in the room during labor, but my SO says because i get to have my mom, he should have his in there. ive told him no a million times (no secret his mom and i hatteeee each other) but i feel like hes going to try to have her there anyway and ill get so mad ill probably kick him out of the room too....any advice?
My 1 year only likes cheese puffs fries and juicy juice and is a picky eater so this is funny to me because I have the same problem at home 😂
