Story time, just because I never really filled Mom Life in on my birth story...

My whole pregnancy was smooth sailing. Barely any sickness, in fact I only vomited twice. Routine check ups were great. I failed my 1 hr glucose but passed my 3hr. So all was good. Every ultrasound was fine. Paid over $400 on sneak peak/ 4D ultrasounds and was in absolute AWE. Anatomy scan checked out, cute nose, ten fingers, ten toes. But wait.....

Labor rolled around and once our sweet girl arrived via section we discovered she didn’t have 10 fingers after all. I spent my daughters first few hours of life put under from bleeding out. I woke up crying wondering what I could have done wrong. 😔 I couldn’t understand why nothing ever appeared on ultrasounds to help prepare us. Of course even if I had known I’d still love her the same but it was such a shock. Upon finally getting my daughter in my arms and seeing her strength and finding out I did nothing wrong and couldn’t have done anything to truly prevent what occured. I was calmed.

She simply had a case of Amniotic Band Syndrome “ABS”.

She’ll soon be 2 years old and is the strongest, sweetest, and most ambitious toddler I know. Honestly would never change a single thing even if I could.

Trigger. Lost baby Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. At my 38 week Appointment!!!

At my 38 week Appointment!!! Gonna have an ultrasound and check if baby turned. Fingers crossed!! But I have a feeling she's still breech. Might be scheduling a c section for next week!! Ahhh!!!
