On his birth certificate the spelling is correct just not the s.s.c
@resee, They should change it without a problem. If you have a local office, I’d go there. I had a helluva time doing our stuff by mail and phone.
I’ve known since I was a child that if I had a son it would be Jaison but Jaxon and Lincoln were on the list just in case we changed our mind. If Jais would have been a girl, we would’ve named her Ariana. (Our girl name has changed now, though since that name is so popular)

They usually work off of the hospital records and paperwork. If it was their error they will change it.
