Didn't feel like the midwife was helpful today. Took my blood pressure gave me an book send me on my way . Didn't look at my notes or growth scan . I try to ask her question about the baby growth and she said read the book and I no idea. Made me feel upset . Is that okay or Iam just being silly .

@x-t-x just wanted peace of mind about my girl growth is everything okay . Not to be told read the book and see you in 2 weeks . Got another growth scan in two days time so I hope I get my answer then I guess xx

Ask who ever is doin ya scan, that’s what I did. I’d ask my midwife what about what kinda weight bubs would be etc even told her I didn’t expect an exact weight just something to go by and she wouldn’t tell me yet while I was having a growth scan I asked and he was just over 6lbs she told me to add about half a lb to each week I had left (I was just over 36weeks) and she said he’d be just over 8lbs - when born he was 8lbs3 lol. You’ll get ya answer at ya scan hun don’t worry, if there was anything to worry about ya midwife would of had to of said something xx

Not silly at all. Sounds like she was very half assed. They are supposed to be there to support you too. Maybe ask if you could see a different midwife.

She should have checked over your notes. Looked at the scan notes and gone over any questions with you. Maybe ask to see another midwife? x
