Ok...those of you with knowledge on LH surges, ovulation and being able to feel it happening with your body...this is for you. Lol.
So I’ve never taken an ovulation test before. I always know when it’s ovulation time. I feel the pain in my ovary, in this case the right one. I have ovulation tests bc I was going to start them this time around. But here I am just day 10 of my cycle and yesterday I started to feel it coming on but thought I was crazy since it was so early. Now today I KNEW it was what I was feeling. I took one and it’s obviously positive. We had sex Sunday night. Not sure if I would have gotten a positive Sunday or if my positive would hAve come Monday. However, what are my chances of getting pregnant at this point. We work opposite shifts and won’t be able to try at all until Friday... lol. Fail.

Sperm can live inside you for like three days so, there's a chance! I get those pains too and based on when the doctor dated conception to be we'd had sex 2 days before I ovulated and still ended up pregnant. So it's definitely possible.

ovulation is when you can get pregnant. You don’t have to have sex ON the day. Sperm can live a few days inside of you. This is why women take ovulation tests. It actually tests for your LH surge. Once you have a positive ovulation test, it means your LH surge is happening and you will ovulate in about 12-24 hours or so. So you want to have sex when you get that positive ovulation test to increase your chances.
