When bad things happen to people do you think it is as a punishment for something they have done at any point in their lives?
Yes and no. This world is an evil one, and bad things happen to everyone. That being said, I do believe that you reap what you sow.
I think that bad things happen to everyone ! It’s doesn’t matter how much good you do . People are always going to experience some type of challenge in their lives but not as a punishment. I believe that those blockages are tests to make us stronger & wiser! Although if you are living a life of regret , hate, and mistrust than nothing good will come from it. But when you are nicer , more open , and positive then you’ll get a different outcome . It all depends on how you react to the situation! It’s more of a mindset thing. Stay strong 💕💕
Bad things just happen. I refuse to believe that I deserved to lost my mom when I was 12 or my dad when I was 17. My mom did not deserve cancer. My dad did not deserve to be hit by a car. My mother in low did not deserve to be ejected from her vehicle and kill. My husband did now deserve to lose the only decent parent he had. My brother did not deserve to lose his dad before he was even born. My kids weren’t even a thought then, so they certainly don’t deserve to not have grandparents. The list could really go on and on
@nap.queen, or maybe it’s the devils work and he’s just trying to get you down.
@pamelawife134, I can only answer for myself and my faith, but I believe we need to be tested in order to grow.
I had a great life as a child. Two loving parents, a flock of grandparents that adores us, but had if I hadn’t lost all of that I promise a lot wouldn’t be married to the great man I call my husband. I wouldn’t have 4 beautiful children, and I have to be grateful for that
@pamelawife134 for example. My little cousin came out as gay and months later he was severely beaten by some homophobic people. He was quite young, humble, caring, loving and never did anything wrong, never got in trouble at school or home. So he wasn't "being punished for something has done in his life"
I believe it can bite you in the ass. I believe in karma.
I don't because when people do good they don't always get good. Also bad things happen to children who I can't possibly imagine doing something so bad they deserve bad.
@pamelawife134 that's why I don't agree with the karma because if the parent is doing something wrong the kid shouldn't be affected by it. I'm also not religious lol.
Not necessarily. I'm religious, I believe that Satan causes bad things to happen to try to pull you away from God and God allows certain things to bring you closer to him. But some times you make a stupid decision and your "punishment" is the inevitable concequence.
