About last night....this little one took a 15 minute nap during her scheduled nap time. Yet managed to pass out at 4pm sleeping until we woke her up at about 5:15 to eat dinner. Fast forward to bedtime and I paid for that pre-dinner snooze by going to bed at 11 🤦🏻‍♀️ here’s hoping she sleeps for a full nap today. I’m not complaining about the sleepy snuggles but it took a LONG time of working on it to get her in her own bed. Yes I was a co-sleeper. Would I do it again if I could go back? Honestly yes I would, for me recovering and breastfeeding co-sleeping was the easiest way to see success. It worked like a charm breastfeeding until almost 18 months. It’s kind of surreal looking at her and knowing I won’t go through pregnancy, birth and all the baby stages. I’m totally okay with that so don’t think I’m sad about not doing it again. I’m enjoying this next stages of life, watching the 4 I have grow and blossom into amazing people. Also working on myself and having more quality time with the love of my life. Whatever stage you are in in your life know that you are awesome and I hope you all have an incredible day!

Opinions on crying it out?

Opinions on crying it out? My baby is 8 1/2 months old. I've tried the no tears method and it worked a couple times but now it doesn't anymore. I do squats while holding her and rock her (21 lbs baby) for over an hour each nap all for nothing. My friend said she did cry it out and by the 3rd day her baby would only cry 5 minutes and now he's totally fine with sleeping in the crib. Opinions please? I am the only one who actually raises my kid. My fiancé does not help and I have no family that helps. So it is very hard on me. Thank you Edit: because clearly some of the women on here think I'm a monster. I am an EMT. When I go back to work, I will be gone 24 hours at a time. My daughter is almost 9 months old and cries every minute she is not in my arms. As much as I want to comfort her every second of the day, I can't. And it's better I get her used to sleeping on her own now, than not letting her cry and all of a sudden mommys gone for 24 hours at a time and she completely loses it and I can't just get off work to comfort her.
