What’s the latest your kids walked or began to stand up? My son is 11 months. Doesn’t crawl and doesn’t try to stand up either. I hope nothing is wrong with hjm. Maybe he’s just a slow learner. I know boys can be lazy lol idk but I feel like he’s still a little baby compared to other kids his age 😄

I only had two kids that crawled , my girls both walked at 1 year , 1 boy walked at the end of his 7th month one at 10 mths . I will say I didn’t carry them halfnas much as my girls . My boys walked faster because my girls would hold their hand one on each side and practice walking while singing a song they did it every day . So it certainly had some impact . Have you ever gotten him to stand with assistance maybe he will like that more . Possibly going on the ground and baiting him by putting his fav toy , his bottle or cup, something he lovvvee so much and also crawling along side of him or around the room as well
I do put him on the floor everyday just don’t know if there’s something else I can do/try
He’ll get into crawling position but never moves. Idk if he’s scared or because he’s chunky and can’t move easily. Not sure
A lot of floor time is needed. I lived on the floor and my baby crawled at 6 months and walked at 11 months. Yes all babies are different definitely. Encourage him and make funny faces and sounds.
Walking they don’t really worry about until 18 months but not crawling at 11 months I would call his doctor
No, I’m planning on telling doctor when I take him to his 1 year check up
@vanessa81.vr I may be very wrong I'm no doctor but I've not heard of them at least crawling by now. Definitely mention to his doctor I'm curious to know myself if its normal but as far as I know it's not but again he just may be taking his time which is really no rush
@blessed2018w9, right? I’m curious also. I sit hjm on the floor everyday to play with his toys and all he does is roll around or sit up. Hopefully it’s nothing bad and it’s just hjm taking his time. I haven’t heard of a baby not crawling by this time either. My mom said my brother and I weren’t crawlers and by 1 we began to stand up and walk. But my son hasn’t tried to stand up either
I can not stand when Josiah wakes up screaming because he’s still so tired but doesn’t want to go back to sleep... he wakes everyone up and then I have to deal with all 3 kids being hateful all day cause they woke up to early!! 😑😑 I already give up today...... have a nice day ladies!!

Honestly my daughter started full on crawling at around 8 months, then a few days later started pulling up, and a few days after that standing up assisted, and now it’s been a week of that and she’s “cruising” she really has no interest to crawl right now except to get to a spot she can pull on and stand at to walk around assisted. Maybe he just will go to standing/walking. But I would say tummy time as the previous poster said, lots of it with toys a little bit out of reach, or you can try putting your hands behind his feet while on Tummy time, but not pushing or holding just setting them there so he can try and push off by himself?
