@boymom123 I'm the same my dad was abusive and I don't want to contact him for sure I only have a sister and like your mom she only calls me if she needs something. But we are both blessed to have our children ! Sometimes the way it is ,is the best way, and I know there are times where you think wow my side of the family is empty and feel sad but maybe they are not in your life because they wont be a good positive fit for you and will only make you stressed and sad

@boymom123 me too and I wish my mother loved me to call or cared to come during the birth of my baby sometimes I cry and ask myself how can my mother not love me but then I get myself together again

Yeah beyond weird or neglectful like I got the shit end of the stick with family and my husbands parents ones passed away the other is old so it’s not like my kids have grandparents or I can drop them off and get a moment to myself
