Who else has an issue with quitting coffee while pregnant? I talk to my doctor and explained that prior to my pregnancy caffiene was a huge thing with me. Atleast a pot a day.... She told me as long as I avoid it as much as possible the baby should be fine. But i still slip and get a coffee on my way to school. This is the hardest addiction to me personally.

@dawnrose I completely put my coffee pot in the closet. Now if i get coffee its from coffee bean tea leaf. That way it limits it.
I had a cup a day with my first. It’s okay to have coffee just in moderate amounts.
Do you have a health issue that prevents you from drinking it? You can have 200mg of caffeine a day. 1 cup is fine.
No health issues besides being over weight. My doctor just told me to avoid it as much as possible same with any medication. She told me it shouldnt hurt the baby but its also better to avoid it before the 12 week mark.
I had a cup daily and my doc was fine with it. I couldn't not have caffeine.
Im to the point I actually had a dream about me at a coffee shop. With my school schedule and work it would be impossible for me to completely cut out coffee
@karramae anything under like 2/220mg daily is not harmful for baby. A cup of coffee and or can of soda would be just fine or maybe tea.
@addy so far ive been trying to stick to tea. My doctor said I am about to have 3 cups a day easy of tea and not worry.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
