Delayed speech is a sign for autism? My daughter it’s going to be 2 on June and she doesn’t talk she only knows how to said “mama, papa, no, bye etc” so her doctor send her to speech therapy, and also she send her to a 2 therapy (I can’t remember the name) because since my daughter can’t talk she gets angry when we can’t understand what’s she’s saying... so she gets really annoying and aggressive. She didn’t said anything about autism. But I just want 2 know it’s possible?😢

Girl No! My son jibber all the time and when I can't figure it out he gets mad and cries and throws fits. He's been in speech and it's not even doing anything. Everything they do I'm already doing. Lol he says more words and phrases but kids will talk when they want too. We've never did baby talk with our son, he understands what we say to him and will do things he just has a hard time saying it himself. He also has had tubes in both ears from always having ear infections back to back. Just keep working with him and saying names of things when you give him stuff and try and say it slowly so he can try and repeat it.

Speech delay does not mean your baby has autism. My friends daughter didn’t start talking or forming complete sentences until she was like 3-4. My friend was super worried but everything turned out okay and her daughter is a A+ student now. Try not to worry mama ❤️

The hubs didn’t start talking til he was four and he doesn’t have autism 😉 You’re good girl. He would just have his younger cousin translate all his jibberish for him lol I wouldn’t worry too much 👍🏼
