Is it normal for a baby to start climbing the stairs before they can walk? I just went upstairs yesterday to tidy the bathroom as she had just had a bath(By tidy I ment get her nappy and dirty clothes) . I turn round and Allaiyah is half way up the stairs. She scared me half to death 🤦🏻♀️😩 I know I need baby Gates but we just don't have any money to buy them yet. We're hoping in 2 weeks or so that we will be able to buy one. Pictures for attention.

I thought they couldn't till they're walking 😩 I'm honestly debating getting one off Littlewoods and paying in small amounts but they're just alot more expensive on there 🤦🏻♀️ Just been struggling with money since Christmas

have u checked for used stair gates near you? The sell for very cheap but i would buy the drill on one rather than the pressure fit one just to be on the safe side xx

@j.z.710 I honestly don't have a penny and we're struggling to get the shopping we need on Friday too. Things are so tight at the moment 😩 not long until her birthday either don't know how we're going to do it xx

You can sometimes buy them second hand for quite cheap. If not as pp said try and see if your sure start can help you and do not feel like a failure at all your doing the best you can, we all struggle with money at times, I'm just the same... But Aslong as your little girl has a mummy, and lots of love your doing all you can 💖
