I saw this on Facebook, but I’m wondering if it’s true.
Have any of you mommies tried this method yet?
Wowww!! I’m definitely not gonna use this method. I don’t want to cause any complications with my baby breathing.
They actually have liquid that's for humidifiers. Those works wonders. I'm not even sure this is safe honestly. They don't recommend you use Vicks on babies or toddlers as it can cause breathing problems. Some kids have died from it being put on them from them being so young.
@gabz1509 Yes, It Was On The News . The mother put vapor rub on her infants chest and it killed the baby. Idk how but it was on the news about it.
@kason.dylons.mamma, I tried googling it and it says it’s untrue that infants only get breathing problems.
@gabz1509 It Was On The News. A Mexican mothers son died from it. It was in 2016. Now if they found proof of it not being true I'm not sure. As they found the girl who faked her trauma from a flu shot to be false years later. It was the one girl who acted as if she couldn't walk at all but could run and be normal or walk backwards and be normal.
This isn’t recommended. Vick’s specifically says not to use with heat. Scentsy makes a “just breathe” bar that’s great for stuffy noses, and Vick’s makes plenty of products for humidifiers and vaporizers.
Perfect, thank you! I’ve never heard of that method before but I saw it on Facebook and was considering it for the future.
Vicks should never be heated, ever. Its flammable and releases a terrible chemical. Not to mention Eucalyptus is a huge NO for children under 10. (And yes, it's hidden in baby vicks as a fragrance too)
