I totally get it! I’m from Indiana but moved to Illinois almost 5 years ago. I like the town we live in because it’s quiet and not much crime really but I hate that there is literally no where to go besides Walmart and dollar general and there is nothing to do besides the park.
I was born in Rockford and lived in that area for a majority of my childhood then moved back when I was 19. Moved back south 9 years ago and do not miss it whatsoever.
