Contractions, but pushing is kinda hard if you are doing it the wrong way lol. There is a right way to push. Don't push with your face though, you will pop blood vessels in your eyes. I had an epidural, so I never felt the ring of fire. I felt contractions when they started before the meds. Then by the time I was pushing I felt them again. Guess my epidural was wearing off
Contractions are no joke and pushing isn't the greatest either but honestly once that baby is out it's instant relief and soooo worth it I promise you! If you have to get the epidural do it! Don't let anyone tell yoy not to if you need to.
I had a birth with no medications and she was over 8lbs and i didn’t have any tears, now with my son i had epidural and he was only almost 6 pounds and i teared, i guess it really doesn’t matter how big or small the baby is, you can tear either way .
@denisse.m I think maybe also because it's harder to control how much you push with epidural than without. But I'm really hoping I can stick it natural I hear the recovery process is much easier.
I had an epidural with my first three so it was pretty easy, but my last one happened SO FAST I didn’t have time for one and lemme tell ya.. it was all horrible! Contractions hurt so much I was ripping my IV’s out trying to get outta that hospital bed to get in a different position and they kept hooking them back up, I ripped my heart monitor off too, I was like man SCREW this and I started pushing lmao and the nurse was like I don’t think it’s time yet, and I was like the hell it ain’t and then she made the dr come in and then as he was checking me the baby came out and I screamed unwillingly 😂
Contractions. Pushing didn’t hurt for me until her head came out. It honestly feels
Like you’re taking a s*** lmao but you’re constipated if you understand what I mean
