Ladies who have coslept,, When did your little one start sleeping on their own?! My daughter is 11weeks & since week 2 she will not sleep alone 😐 I’ve tried swaddling her in multiple types of swaddles, white noise I’ve tried everything! She screams bloody murder. I don’t mind her sleeping with me but I worry about SIDS 😔

I’m. My 2 and 1 year old are in bed with me still. Thinking I need to get them out before I have the new baby. Or start the new one off in crib from beginning. Or my husband will not be in my bed for a few more years. Lol

I spent the last 6mo off and on co-sleeping and exclusively doing so from the time she was 3mo-to last Monday. I began the night time transition into her crib this past Tuesday and she has taken to it well. I think my husband and I FINALLY have our bed back. I miss her sleeping with us though lol.

What were your transitioning steps? I want my LO to sleep in his own Bed so I can enjoy mine again. 😂

My daughter will be 3 in June and still sleeps with me 😂.

I’ve tried getting her to sleep in her own bed but after a few hours she comes back to my room. Lol.

I don’t mind it though.

I might have to try this. We have a swing and mamaroo and she hates them!

@saleena yes!! I bought the mamaroo b4 this and she hated it as well she would fling her arms out like she was falling but this Graco soothes her and when she cries it will change position until she stops crying

@saleena I understand about being scared. Mine was in and out of my bed for like the first 7 months and then after that was just in my bed lol. However he finally started sleeping on his own and sleeping the night so thankfully I'm going to try to get him in his own bed before the baby comes 😅 I did buy a bassinet this time to try out because although I love cosleeping, I miss having room in my bed lol

I’ve posted about my defiant toddler many times before but I’m really at a loss now. She deliberately disobeys. Like, she knows what “no” means and if she’s doing something she knows she’s not supposed to I can ask “do you want to go in timeout?” And she’ll answer “no” and SOMETIMES stop.. I can’t take her anywhere cause she refuses to listen. She runs wild, screams, throws tantrums etc. At home she’s just as bad and absolutely nothing I do or say helps. Timeout doesn’t work, hand poppings don’t work, a pop on the butt doesn’t work, I’ve tried getting down to her level and calmly explaining things or trying to make sure she knows that I understand her emotions and things like that but I’m not even kidding when I say nothing works with her. I’m constantly telling her no and even though she knows she’s going to get into trouble she will do it anyways and then cream this blood curdling scream when she does get in trouble. I’ve raided Pinterest for days, write everything down, tried everything I found... idk what else to do. Everyone keeps telling me it’s “terrible twos” or “she’s just strong willed” or that it’s normal for her age and all of that might be true but there’s gotta be some kind of something that will help me teach her to listen to me and such.
