Yes looks like an internal stye which forms in and under the eyelid of the top or bottom! They take a little longer to heal but they arent supposed to hurt as bad as exterior styes!
Depends on where its located, if its in the bottom of your eye you may be able to pull it down enough to see it but If its in ur top eyelid its harder to pull up on the eyelid. I got over one in December and my whole eyelid got swollen but the stye was so far back I could not see it! Keep warm rags on it for pain relief and ice for swelling! though if it gets any worse I would go in!

It looks a little too swollen to be his a stye. They are usually little bumps on the lash line that cause a little bit of swelling and irritation.

If its internal would I be able to see a "head" on the inside of my eye lid?

I would try putting a warm compress on it and light massage on it
