I need advice; hubby struggles with his appearance and has been having an especially hard time lately, feeling unattractive. Anyone have any suggestions, because apparently my efforts are no longer effective enough.
Thank you, he has some other thing that I think may be contributing to the lack of self esteem and it's helpful to be getting advice from a similar situation. 💕
It's almost disgusting what junk food does to your mind as well. But any changes you do, do it together. Working out helps with anxiety and depression as well. Good luck 🍀
I would do what ecshanes said and make a lifestyle change. Offer to go to the gym together/eat healthier. It’s amazing what going to the gym will do to your confidence as well as eating healthier that will change your mindset once you get past the first hard part of craving the junk. :)
I agree with @ecahanes you might also want to look into some therapy for your hubby.
Well, that right there is a whole other situation. He doesn't feel like he needs therapy for anything, so he won't go. He doesn't feel like it ever helps him. He has gone to several different therapists and had been going for years for a number of scenarios. Though, because of the fact he did not find those experiences effective, he doesn't want to go through it again.
@mercstoddard ok then maybe the whole family can start a fitness routine? Exercise can definitely improve feelings of depression and helps improve your self esteem
Maybe it's time to make a family lifestyle change? Idk what he looks like but maybe change your eating habits. Make it a team effort
@mercstoddard, like she said maybe go train change eating habits , tan , change haircut buy a nife piece of clothing
Well he should only feel attractive to you doesnt need to feel this way with other people
@travis9347 yeah that's my point.. you telling the OP that he should only be attractive to her doesn't help anything.
@laywatz, omg seriously you don’t understand anything 😪😒 !!!
We have a racist on the APP ‼️
School fees
Having an intense debate on Facebook about school fees for public school. I'm in the "stop whining about school fees and stop having kids if you can't afford them" camp and there is the other camp of "free school is a constitutional right! It's bull s*** we have to pay anything at all".
We all have a different definition of “clean”🤢
I've had issues with my husband as well but for depression. I sat down with him and asked "what can we do to make this better?" Using "we" is better then "you" or "I" making it a team effort and make him not feel weird or awkward about it
