There are few things that hurt more than my boyfriend having an amazing day with his best friend and their family (which I’m beyond happy about!) and so he hasn’t seen how you’ve been today. Which, I’m glad about, also. The part that kills me is having to tell him I’ve had a great day so that he doesn’t worry or I don’t ruin his great day... when in reality I feel like I’m falling apart and my depression has just been too much today..

You need to be honest with him. It doesn’t help you to hide your true feelings. If you had a hard day, he needs to be able to do what he can to help you feel better. Even if that just means letting you go sit in a shower for as long as you need.

Depression is hard to deal with, especially on your own. Please let him try to help

He’s spending the weekend with his bestfriend and so I wont see him until tomorrow.. He’s having a blast with him and his family tonight, I really dont want to interrupt that with my issues. My depressed days come and go, I’ll probably be fine tomorrow anyways

This is my son Walter. Today is his birthday. He would have been five. This picture was taken when he was 16 days old. He was my first child and my only son (I now have 3 girls). He passed away the next day after this picture from congenital heart failure. It was a miracle that he lived passed 12 weeks gestation because of how severe his heart defects were. I miss him so much, I can't believe it's been 5 years. It still hurts so bad. I don't talk about him a lot out loud because I end up bawling, so i thank you for letting me share this with you ladies. You have always been nice and supportive. Happy birthday son, your mom loves you.
