Sharing this so people will ensure their kids are strapped in properly. Did you know it is estimated that 70% of car seats are installed incorrectly and/or the straps aren’t in the right position? Hopefully this can be passed along. Once again I’m seeing car seats used incorrectly and moms getting defensive. Hopefully we can all stop getting defensive and start getting educated. After all, what do you have to lose? Other than the most precious thing in your life...

@ek_, if they actually read the manuals for the seats they would know 🤦🏻♀️ then they get mad when you kindly let them know what they are doing is not safe

Yep! I very nicely PMed someone earlier and told her. Complimented her kid & everything. She made a post about me & never replied. So yeah.

Thank you for your post! There are a lot of people that don’t know this!😊

I actually didn’t know this so I’ll definitely check my son’s car seat thank you

Wow! I had no idea the forward facing straps had to be placed differently than the rear facing straps. Good to know.👌🏽 Even though my son has reached the age and weight requirement to sit forward facing, I still have him rear facing. I want him rear facing as long as he possibly can. But this info is definitely helpful.

Thanks for sharing. It was a long 12 years before I last used a car seat. And everything has changed since then. I take my car seat to the health dept and let those that are trained hook it up for me. I’m not taking any chances.
