Which would you choose?
My little baby will turn 1 in March. I was thinking about hosting the party at my house. But then last night I was thinking of having it at my uncles neighborhhod clubhouse where we’ve hosted all of my kids 1st birthdays.
Home- not a time limit and can clean up on my time without rushing.
Clubhouse- a time limit for 3 hours. (That’s with setting up and cleaning up) I don’t feel is enough time at all.
Home- kids can play in the back yard with activities I’ll have. I can prepare food without having to transport it.
Clubhouse has a park outside where the kids can have fun.
Clubhouse is a larger space which is nice but my home is more convenient. Which would you choose? If you’ve hosted parties at your house what did you not like about it?

I would do it at home. When I have the only issue I had was seating for everyone

That’s what I’m worried about. 😕 My husband is building me a new dining table that has a bench that will sit 3 people plus our 4 chairs. Our couch and a recliner. I counted 32 ppl that would come but more than half are children lol.

I had my first party at home for my daughter this year because we also took her to Disney. I'll tell you that I hated that there wasn't a time limit because people didn't want to leave well after the party was over. People just hung around all day. It was weird and it felt intrusive but I'm too polite and didn't tell them to leave. I liked being able to clean up at my own pace though.

I’m only invited family and close friends and their children. I know after about 3 hours of kids running through my house I’ll be done 😂.

I would do your home. You do not want to feel rushed. I went to a birthday party a few weeks ago and I believe it was only 2 hours. It's like hurry up. Eat, cut cake presents and everybody has to leave because it's time to clean up

That’s why I don’t want to have it at the clubhouse. Lol I hate feeling rushed to do things. Plus I’ll just feel more comfy in my own home ❤️
