Yes you can however you have to continue to pump if you want your supply to stay. I made the mistake of “taking breaks” on pumping and slowly my milk went away. It’s supply and demand when it come to milk

I did both for a little bit before going to formula completely because I just stopped making milk which I still am upset about . I suggest straight breastfeeding for a bit to get your supply up because that was my mistake .

Give breast first and if baby is still looking hungry or you can't finish feeding the baby offer formula.
