Ended up going to the hospital late at night on the 23rd. I was feeling my belly get super hard and uncomfortable all day so decided to go in to be safe because I know every labor is different. Apparently those were contractions and Even when I didn’t think so. They checked me and I was at 3cm. My contractions kept coming in regularly about 3-7 mins apart but I wasn’t in any “real pain” but discomfort and I wasn’t dilating anymore so they decided to send me back home. At home contractions got intense but still 3-7mins apart so I just decided to relax and went to sleep. Sure enough I had an appointment the next morning which was today at 10:am when the doc checked me I was 4cm but I wasn’t having any contractions during the morning. They still decide to send me to L&D to monitor just Incase and I ended up getting send home because again my contractions weren’t painful or frequent enough. Now I’m feeling contractions like last night but AGAIN 3-5mins apart but I don’t think I should go in to waste any more time until I’m sure this contractions get super SUPER painful and hard to deal with even is they aren’t 2-3 mins apart since I’m already 4cm or maybe more !!

5-1-1 Rule of thumb: contractions 5 minutes apart, lasting 1 minute each time , for the period of 1 hour, then go in.

I followed this with my first but it was completely different because I was already in pain at 3cm. Now my contractions are 3-5mins apart but not painful enough and maybe they might go away like yesterday night so I’m definitely not going in yet.

My contractions wasn’t painful w my 2nd daughter. I wouldn’t of known I was in labor but my water was breaking. If ur water don’t break on its own u may have ur baby at home. U may wanna go get checked

I am about a 10-15mins walk from the hospital.. so super close in car and I’m ready if I leak or feel more uncomfortable since I haven’t had any leakage or bloody show or anything. .. but for now I just don’t feel like it’s time.. really feel like it’s going away like last night.

usually they say if u take a warm bath or drink some water they may go away

At the hospital I delivered in they keep you once your 4cm they can’t send you home so idk how it is with your hospital but I would think they would keep you I was also dilating slow so they broke my water and gave me pitocin to speed it up

Yeah I thought the same but she said since I’m only 38wks they help induce or break water at 39wks and since I wasn’t in any real pain they didn’t want to keep me because it could be even days if my contractions keep coming and going like they have. So that’s why I’m making sure either I can’t take the pain or they stay around for some hours because last night they completely went away and this morning I had nothing until later today around 6pm. They have been more part now since I posted this so I think I’ll be able to sleep it off in a bit and probably again not feel any contractions in the AM
