Smaller more frequent feedings and sitting him to drink will help. Burping as much as possible. Rice is so hard to digest for their little tummies and has zero nutrients.
I tried all that...I tried everything like that with my first only thing that helped with him too was rice and then we started solids at 4.5 months and that helped even more! I know my kids!
I didn’t say you didn’t know your children so there’s no reason to get defensive with me. My third had acid reflux and within a 2 weeks he was all better by changing my diet and doing the things I mentioned in my first comment. And not laying him flat to sleep. He slept mostly in his rock n play.
There’s also changing your diet since baby is breastfed it could be something your eating. Plain yogurt could also help.
Loosening diapers also could help.

we actually tried all that I don’t eat dairy I gave him gas drops, probiotic drops tested him for allergies...like literally everything you could possibly think of before resulting to this...my oldest was the same and this actually helped him weird enough lol
I always preferred to feed my kids cereal instead of putting in their bottle but every child is different. If u think it's gone help then try it. Jus keep an eye on him but u no your baby so I'm sure all will work out
My so has extreme gerd we have tried everything as a baby i refused to do rice in milk and yes he sat up early i had to change my diet and i mean a whole life style change i fallowed a gerd diet plan it was awful but once we chnaged my diet he was doing good. And yes he now has to stick to the diet he can have fun foods but early in the day.
Actually the first time he didn’t spit up, didn’t scream in the middle of the night from is coming up....I changed my diet...I was on the most plain basic diet any one was willing to suffer through for their kid! Nothing changed...he was tested for allergies...again nothing came back...small more frequent feedings..pace feedinf, slowest flow nipple...even when he was straight to the breast he still did it...medicine....just because your not willing to give it to your kids does not make me wrong for doing it...actually the best decision me and my pediatrician came up with because he slept happy and woke up happy for the first time
I'm sorry that everybody is putting you down for doing what your Dr recommended. Definitely follow what you were told every baby and every situation is different. Screw everybody else and do what's best for your baby. Period
