Opinions on pack and plays versus a crib? My son HATED his crib, he was so tiny in it and I guess he felt alone. We co sleep with him but are transitioning him to his toddler bed before the baby comes. Im not sure if I want to co-sleep this time. We only have room for a mini crib if we get one since we live in an apartment. We'd also be able to take the pack and play with us to families houses if we need to be over there all day too. Or should we find a bassinet and buy a mini crib when the little one grows out of it? We definitely don't want both at the same time.

I'm in the same boat. I bought a bassinet this time and I'm going to see how it goes 😂 I kinda miss my bed lol

@rariszoo yup I finally got my son to sleep the night, but I don't enjoy getting kicked in the face haha. However I'm getting really upset about putting him in his own bed 😭

I chose pack and plays for my girls, more cost effective for me and easy to move around or take with me plus we dont have a lot of room to work with. I coslept the first few months they were home but once they started rolling I put them in the pack and plays.

We used pack and plays for all my nephews and niece to sleep in until they were about 2. But once we get our own place I plan to get them beds with rails on them for when they can get over the sides of the pack and play.

okay I was just wondering how long it would be before they grow out of it. But at two we could just buy a toddler bed like my son has

We didn't even put our son in his crib until he was about 6 months old. We used a bassinet, and then the pack n play. When we moved him to the crib, the pack n play went back out to the living room til he outgrew it. We'll be doing the same for this princess.

Both of my kids have preferred the crib. They both disliked bassinets and pack and plays. It depends on your child.
