I have the worst conern n i need help moms please no judging tho so mayb at 29 almost 30 weeks i ate a weed brownie without knowing it had weed in it until it was already to late ive beem on google since looking things up im scared n nervous bevause i dont want cps involved but it only happend that one time but i heard eating one weed browine is like smoking a whole blunt i know my piss will b clean but i see doctors r testing poop n the umbillical cord. I cant sleep i cant even eat please someone gas anyome expierenced this im so scared i didn't smoke my whole pregnancy until i ate that brownie some one please get back asap

Colorado automatically calls cps if they suspect or if you tell them. Even if you and baby test ckean.
I smoked during my pregnancy and was super worried they’d test me for it when I went into the hospital to have my son but they didn’t and everything was fine. No need to worry, you both will be fine

You both will be fine. Physically and beyond. Weed is legal in WA and I’m pretty sure AZ is one of the only states that gets CPS involved. Nowhere else does. Also it’ll be out of your system fast.. it only stays for long periods if you’re a heavy smoker. A lot of moms in the states where it’s legal use it as a form of anti nausea and pain relief too. You both will be okay 💘
I’m in Arizona and if you smoke weed during your pregnancy or anything like that CPS automatically gets involved and they do a home visit. If the home is safe and clean with no worries they close the case. Both you and baby will be fine!
@jenylaielli88, no, I no that. I’m just saying where I reside that’s what will happen. If they test at the hospital and it comes back that baby has weed in his or her system they might have to automatically let CpS know, I could be wrong though. I really honestly wouldn’t worry about it. Even if they did a home visit and closed the case I wouldn’t be to worried

@jenylaielli88, I understand, but if you have a clean stable safe home for your babies I don’t think there is much they will do. I think it’s normal for someone who is in a position like your in to be worried.

You’ll be fine. They don’t test in the hospital unless there’s reasonable cause to. Since you’ve been clean the whole time they won’t bat an eye. Plus even if they did you and baby would likely be clean by delivery.
