31 weeks and baby they saying baby is weighing 4 pounds 6 oz how accurate is her weight ?

I was told my son was going to be 8/9 lb and he was 6 even and for my daughter they said 7 almost 8 lb and she was 7.15 lb

That sounds like an avg weight for 31 weeks.

At my growth scan at 31 weeks 5 days baby weight 4lb 11oz dr told me shes big and hes inducing me 1 week early. Cuz if he leaves me till the 40 weeks she will weight 8lb and half to 9 lb and he didnt want to risk doing a c-section on me. Will have another growth scan on day of induction.

They were fairly accurate with my son. He was 10.3lbs (I had GD) and they said he'd be about 9lbs

At my 29 week scan with this peanut, they said she was 3.8lbs. I go back at 33 weeks so I'll see what they say then.

Honestly with my son they told me he was weighing 8pounds. He came out weighing 6 lol. But with my daughter they had estimated around 5 pounds 7oz. And she came out being 6 pounds a couple weeks after.

I feel like it’s a hit or miss sometimes but to me it’s more of just an estimate

My babys weight was pretty accurate

at 31 weeks they said my baby was huge & said he was gonna be a huge baby which was one of the reasons they were fine with inducing me 3 weeks early. at 37 weeks they told me my baby was like 8lbs 9oz and fat or something like that, & he ended up being born 7lbs 4oz and a skinny minnie. so it’s prob off a pound or two. i don’t trust those weights lol
