I'm trying to potty train my son who turned 3 in November. We've been at this for awhile. He's my third child but first boy. I feel like we've tried everything. We have his little potty, a mini urinal, and a seat for the big potty. We do a sticker chart (worked for my girls) which he does like and gets excited when he gets a sticker after he goes. We've done the fruit loop aim and shoot...he lost interest after a few times. I've let him just run naked and he just goes on the floor. We've done big boy underwear and he just goes in them. He doesn't care!! Any more ideas, tips? Maybe he's just not ready? I don't push too hard because I know that will only slow things down but I encourage him. Are boys more difficult to potty train in general? Help!!

When I potty trained our daughter, I felt the same way. I’d tried everything! How I finally did it was I took her to target, she picked out one big toy that she REALLY wanted. I told her she could open it once she had a week of no accidents. So we put the toy (closed in the box)on the kitchen table for her to see as a reminder. It only took two weeks after months of trying!

Our kids really wanted one-on-one tile with Nana, so we made a chart and they had to go 2 weeks accident-free to get their Nana time. They were night trained and doing well by the time their two weeks were up. It helped that Nana was excited and would call and see how they were doing every day. The sleepover incentives worked well.
Maybe have a chart for an exciting time just for them🤷♀️
