Hi, I’m making another post about my sweet friend because I got so many wonderful responses.

My friend just informed me that after all this time, her man wants to leave her while he’s deployed. (He’s a good man, it’s not like he’s cheating) He says that if it’s meant to be they’ll come back to each other.

She, on the other hand, wants to stay together and let the distance do it’s magic of bringing back a deep loving feeling.

Any way she can show him to see what she sees? They never have any major problems besides things like tiffs over correcting each other’s grammar or empty toilet paper rolls. They’re pretty much perfect. They have a very healthy relationship where they can talk about anything, but sometimes he gets in his own head worrying and he makes decisions without her.

I usually don’t poke around in people’s business but these two are absolutely made for each other. I do feel silly I’ll admit. I just want to help and support her. I see his point of view but... I guess you’d just have know them I guess.

I really want them to work out. My heart aches for her.

Honestly sounds to me he doesn't want to be with her when he's deployed so he can mess around with the foreign girls and not worry about her back home. I don't think I'd stick with him if it were me.

That’s literally the only reason that makes sense. Big problem is that’s SO not his style. Obviously people have things we don’t know about, but these people are like family to me. I know them well and that just isn’t his thing. He loves her, he really does, but he’s blaming it on no “spark” in the relationship

oh definitely. I’m just sayin’ that if my husband straight up wanted to leave me he’d have to give me a better answer than “things change” 😂

As a Airman and the wife of an an Airman who has been ordered for deployments without me. I totally agree. 100% not normal behavior. It’s totally a gamble asking for advice for a person that isn’t even myself on the Internet. I just happen to be in agreement with my friend that there is something worth saving. Nonetheless, I’m sending her all the comments and she can make the decision she sees best fit.

make the decision she see fit? I'm confused isn't he breaking up with her regardless??? Please don't take this the wrong way but it sounds like you and your friend are in denial. It sounds like he's trying to make a clean break and blame it on the deployment but hey maybe I'm wrong. Love is love 🤷

eh, we very well could be. I’m not at all taking it in the wrong way, I totally respect some honesty. I really do appreciate your opinion. I just have faith them. if you know you know :/

He’s probably just doing it out of fear that if something were to happen then they wouldn’t be together and it wouldn’t hurt as much. They just need to talk

I think she should let it be. It may hurt but can't force it if he doesn't want to do long distance. Could be because he wants to sleep around. Could be because he either doesn't trust her or himself. Could be just because he doesn't want to.


There's most likely an underlying issue or reason. I say she's better off.

And at the end of the day, that just might be the case because that’s how it is sometimes :/ I don’t know, I just know from personal experience that love is worth fighting for.

Maybe he feels like he would be holding her back since he won’t be around. Maybe he thinks that she would resent him later on or she will be lonely and stray and he doesn’t want to get hurt🤷🏻‍♀️

Well i am gonna tell you one thing sometimes the “perfect couple” aint soo perfect my moms friend was married for 6 years with a soldier they had a daughter had the perfect life that anyone could dreamed off once he came back from deployment he wasn’t the same he got a divorce and left her cause he had met someone else “soldier “ never admit it to her but she found out , he gave everything up for this new woman soo my thoughts is her man probably wants to do something similar

As a service member and a married woman myself, I know perfectly well how deployments can strain couples and the shenanigans that’s go on behind closed doors. it’s super heartbreaking and a reality for so many people. I can pretty much guarantee you him wanting to sleep around is not it.

Dad's FB Video!! Did anyone see that video a dad posted on his daughters FB page? He saw a post she made where she bashed her parents and cursed them, called them lazy and told them they should pay her for stuff she did around the house... So he called her out on it and put the video on her page!! Sorry if I missed a post already about this already, but I just saw the video and IT WAS AWESOME!!! Hahahhaa!

I posted the day before yesterday about my friend.. & well....... her fiancé came over, AND she came alone 😐 we eat sit around and after awhile my husband takes him to the back & the next thing I know he’s coming in the house with a weird look on his face, asking her if there was something he should know, I instantly gets up just in case someone turns into a maniac....... well long story short he cried & told her how disloyal she is & how disappointed he was.. she’s crying asking me why would I do that.. I’m like 🤷🏽 ♀ it wasn’t right........ Our other friends are saying that he’s giving her a hard time and that he sleeping on the couch, not eating her food and won’t talk to her.. she’s not talking to me (of course) & I now feel like we could have handled it in a different manner ... idk seeing a grown man cry like he did was just heart breaking!
