Last night, I did all my dishes.

You're probably thinking, okay? Awesome everyone does dishes.

Well here's the thing. I haven't done my dishes in four months.

And now you are probably thinking, oh how nasty! Who doesn't do their dishes for months?

People with severe depression don't. And I have severe depression. My depression has kept me from doing many things. And I hate every minute of it but I literally can not make myself do certain things, like clean my dishes.

But last night I did. I managed to get rid of four boxes of dishes we didn't need and cleaned the ones we did. I sat and cried after I finished them because I was so proud of myself.

Some of you may judge me for this because you don't understand what I suffer through. But that's okay. I keep everything else clean and my daughter is always clean and healthy and that's what matters the most to me. 💕
