After almost a week of Tinley being sick I thought she was over it.
She was so full of herself today and actually tried eating after not eating since last Thursday.
Well this evening when we got home she started to act like she didn’t feel good.
She climbed up on my lap around 6pm and slept until 8:30pm, she was awake maybe 10 minutes and already went back to sleep.
Not sure what is going on with her. She’s so miserable and doesn’t want to do anything but sleep.
The hospital keeps saying it’s just strep, but I know it’s got to be something else! 😭😭

Have they tested her for mono?

@brittanystewart304, not sure if it’s very common in children but I know mono can be like strep but last longer and make you really tired.

@michellemybell09, everyone has asked me if they tested her for it.
I can’t miss anymore work, so I’m gonna have my mom take her somewhere else tomorrow.
I know strep can be rough, but she’s had TWO strong antibiotic shots along with steroids, and some other medicine and nothing has changed.
They told me those shots would make her feel better within 24hrs but they never did.

yeah I would definitely do that, sounds like some else might be going on trust your instincts. Hopefully you get some answers and she feels better soon poor girl. 😕

Oh I’d say. Me and Tinley both had the flu last year at the same time and I thought I was gonna die.
I hate when little ones are sick and there isn’t much you can do for them.
Tinley has been so miserable.

I personally don’t think it’s strep.
I mean it very well could be like they said, but I just have a feeling it’s something else.
I can’t miss anymore work so my mom is taking her to her doctor tomorrow for me.
