When my son’s hair is wet it gets curly but once his hair dries it just gets straight. Any recommendations on products to use on multi-cultural hair?

I have the same problem. It’s so curly after I take hjm a bath and it stays curly until he ends up taking a nap the curls go away and his hair gets wavy 😕

@itsdestyn, no I can’t find anything. I’ve tried garnier curl cream and mousse but it just goes back down. Idk whatelse to try

Just going to add, my son was the same way when he was younger. Curly hair after bath, but straight when it would dry. It eventually changed as he grew, and now has tight curls.

I've also used this brand of hair products.  As my kids have gotten older their hair gets really dry, and thus their curl gets lost/frizzy. Anything that rehydrates the hair will make the curl more defined.

Also, I know there is a brand out there called "Mixed Kids". It is a little more expensive, but I hear it works wonders. I have yet to try it, as I'd have to order it online as I like in the middle of no where lol (I'm not much of an online ordering person )..

For"hair pudding" I've tried many different Brands. They sell it at salons and at Walmart too.  I find the more I pay the better quality I get 🤷‍♀️ but then again, I wouldn't use my most expensive products on my smallest girl because her hair is different, and doesn't really need it.... so I guess it would depend on the stage of hair your son has

Coconut oil works pretty good. But I use something cAlled "hair pudding" you can get it at any Solon, or even Walmart has it. It works really really well. I tried everything under the sun till a Jamaican lady suggested this, and it's awesome.
