When my son had the flu as an infant, they told us take him to the ER because he kept throwing up, but they didn’t actually do anything for him. They just sent us home and told us to keep an eye on him. So it was a waste of time and money for us at least. The main thing is to make sure they’re staying hydrated if they’re vomiting and having diarrhea. If you’re concerned, definitely call your clinic and speak to a nurse.
