Worst idea ever. If you are low on formula ask your pediatrician as they often have a closet full of samples. Reach out to food banks in your area. Please don’t make this for your baby.

I'd take my chances stealing formula before I fed my baby that recipe. There's a reason people don't use it anymore.

This is super old school . Like back in our grandparents day but I wouldn’t recommend this now.

Pleaseeee don’t use this! Most food banks and churches are stocking up extra formula specifically because of this shutdown! Also not all wic is closing, so check your local wic offices! Reach out to your local food bank/recourses, there’s help out there. Don’t be reckless with your children, like pp said!

People who don’t qualify for wic or food stamps probably have the money to buy real baby formula.

If you do have wic & foodstamps, between the two, you should have plenty to buy all the formula you need since wic strictly covers baby (& Mom if she’s bf) & you get extra foodstamps per child in the household.

My point is there should never be a reason to be giving your child something so dangerous when there are plenty of options out there for people in need.
