So I’m going to be honest, with it being the first of the year and with birthdays coming in (February) and our newest little one will be born also in February money is a little tight, as in we can’t just go and “blow money” on things. (Not that we do it anyways) We had been looking for Newborn clothes on yard sale sites and so this lady messaged my husband about some clothes she had. She sent him pictures and they were in “good used condition” or so she said. Well Justin agreed to come to her house to get them (she didn’t have a way to meet him) he gave her $35 (her asking price) for 2 boxes of Newborn and 0-3 boy clothes. Y’all when I tell you my blood pressure went through the roof I mean it literally to the point of crying in a fit of rage. He gets the clothes home and I start going through these so called “good used condition” clothes, they were chewed on by an animal, covered in cat hair, stains that are beyond reasonable, some have a mysterious white stain(I don’t even want to know), and I don’t even want to talk about the smell of the clothes. I know that kids will be kids and that stains happen heck I have 2 boys trust me I know about stains but when the newborn clothes have stains covering the whole piece of clothing, come on Newborns milk(breast or formula) doesn’t stain that bad!! Some are so bad I had to throw away. If I wasn’t trying to control my temper I would LOVE nothing more than to give that lady a piece of my mind! I’ve NEVER sold someone clothes that had that many issues. Why send picture of great clothes only to sell ones that aren’t useable! She later messaged my husband telling him “thank you” and that she would message him when her son outgrew the 3-6. I told him if he came home with clothes bought from them again he would find himself on the yard sale site! The nerve of some people baffle me!!!!!🤦🏻♀️🤬

You should definitely take pictures of everything and contact her for a refund. That was so wrong of her to do. I’d be pissed too.

I totally feel for you, that would have pissed me off! I’d definitely grab the clothes and just spread them over her lawn lmao but your husband should have checked the clothes before accepting them and paying for them; lesson learned: never let your husband go alone again lmao I’m sorry this happened!

@scx, Oh that’s for sure. Trust me he was also chewed out! I told him it’s like buying a car, never leave with or pay for anything unless you check the product out! I am beyond furious. @rina414, I doubt she would. My guess is they don’t even have the $35 anymore. So most of those clothes would have to be thrown away because there isn’t anyway I’d ever give or sell those to someone else especially if I myself wouldn’t put my child in them. I told him from now on I deal with people on clothes unless he knows them personally. I won’t be as nice as he is and just buy things without looking them over, I have no problem getting back in my car and leaving if they aren’t good. Men!🤦🏻♀️😂

You’re too good because I would have definitely called her out. I’m mad for you! She had the nerve to message y’all saying she’ll contact you about the next size clothes?! You can definitely let her know how upset you are without cursing her out.

Ugh I’m sorry, money’s tight for me too so I’d be stressing out over this. If only you were having a girl, I’d send you over some clothes for free!

@rina414, I doubt I could hold my tongue.😂 my husband thinks with this pregnancy I’m the meanest I’ve ever been and that my “fuse” is done gone.🤷🏻♀️ I would of gladly drove back to her house and set the clothes on fire in her front yard after I got my money back one way or another. I mean if I won’t even put my child in those clothes there isn’t a way I’ll ever let someone else put their children in them. I’d rather buy clothes for someone else than give them those clothes! Justin knew I wasn’t playing when I told him if he went and bought clothes from her again he would find himself for sale! 😂
@scx, I wanted a girl so bad but lord I’ll have 3 boys.😂 I’m stressing a lot here lately because we are still waiting on our two rooms to be added onto our house(that hasn’t even been started on) plus now having to get more newborn clothes. I’m sure everything will work itself out. 🙏🏼

I tried but it’s not showing the listing so I told justin to report it since she had dealt with her, but I did message her and explained what EUC was and that what we got was not that and that Justin would not be buying anything from them again.
