Sixteen months ago when this beauty was born, we embarked on our breastfeeding journey, and I am so blessed to still be on that journey with her. It has taught me so much about myself, my body, her needs, and our bond. She comes to me for love, support, comfort, and security, and it makes me feel so good to know that I am the person she seeks. The bond we share is indescribable, and the feeling of accomplishment is insurmountable. Breastfeeding my daughter is such a blessing. I thank God everyday for blessing me with such an amazing husband, beautiful children, and this breastfeeding journey and so many other things!
