Ok ladies i need your help my lo has this on his leg what is it
if his doctor says it’s okay 1% hydrocortisone cream is what my son’s doctor suggests but I would call to check with your child’s doctor before doing anything
It’s hard to tell what’s going on in this blurry photo. You should probably talk with your pediatrician.
It could possibly yeast, had that area been wet at all? Cause sometimes I’ll be rushing and forget to dry my son’s armpits off in the crease and the crease of his armpits will get irritated like this from the moisture and yeast likes moist places so that’s where it’ll grow. You can make a doctors appointment or do remedies at home for this just lay him on a towel with nothing on and let him air out the longer you let him air out the sooner the yeast will go away and when you put his diapers back on him get some diaper rash cream like desitin or Aquaphor and apply it to the area and with each diaper change dry the area off after cleaning it with a baby wipe and let it dry and then apply the cream and just do this over and over again until it clears up.
That’s what I would assume it’s from...? Is it on the crease of his leg? Maybe the diaper is too tight?
@resee, I would try a bigger size...and/or different brand.. put some neosporin on it to help it heal faster..
If it has a rancid smell I’d say yeast rash my daughter used to get it in her neck fold really bad and it would smell awful, keep it clean and dry, might have to get a script for nystatin cream
