When did you finish work before birth/leave? What did/do you do?
My goal is to make it to 37 weeks because I’m addicted to work (for now😅) and that’s the last important event before my due date. I work retail and am on my feet all day, this is my first baby and no one thinks I’m going to be able to make it that far.
I know it’s not up to me. But is that too far of a stretch? Everyone is different but I don’t know if there are any common denominators 🤔😅😭. The staff is betting on me having my baby at the store 😂. As long as I can still put my pants on I plan to go to work.
This gives me hope Atleast 😇😇. My GM now pretty much keeps me trapped in the office so I’m not doing as much as I used to- or want to. I figure if I take it easy I should be okay. 4.5 weeks is all I’m asking. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
I finished on Friday and was scheduled to come in to the hospital for my induction on Sunday night.
BUT I do most of my work from home. That’s also why I went back to work when the baby turned 4 weeks - I get to be a stay-at-home working mom 🙂
I also work retail. Minimum 9 hour days before lunch and I don’t get to sit down at all while clocked in. I’m due June 2nd but I told them I was taking my leave as of the second week of May, so 35ish weeks
I was 38 weeks with my first when i had quit work. I was a hotel housekeeper doing 20+ rooms daily
I was an administrative assistant with all three of my boys. With our first son I worked Friday, my water broke Saturday, and he was born Sunday. With our second son I worked Monday and has him Tuesday. With our third son I had changed to a part-time position so I worked the Wednesday before having him on Friday.
I worked up to a week before I was due. I had put in vacation time to do so. If I didnt, I would have worked all the way up until I was due.
Not at all. I worked right up until my due date. 37 weeks is totally obtainable. Just get comfortable shots and pants towards the end and you'll be fine
I finished yesterday , a month b4 my due date . And I plan on sleeping lol
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

A Statement from Mom.Life:
Hey everyone!
Last night, a new user began messaging our moms asking for private pictures of toddlers and young children. This is obviously unacceptable behavior, and the account was banned immediately. Although thankfully extremely rare on Mom.Life, several users were understandably upset by this, so we wanted to clarify a few things:
First off, Mom.Life has an absolute zero tolerance policy for child abuse and those who would prey on children. We strive to ...
the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.
